Frequently Asked Questions

Is your service free?

Yes! We offer free pet food and supplies to low income individuals and families. Our aid is always free.

What services do you offer?

We offer Short Term emergency aid and Long Term assistance.

We currently distribute on Saturdays at the Granville Food Pantry and every other Saturday at the Market 32 in Hudson Falls. We hope to be adding more locations soon. If you would like to see No Empty Bowls come to your area, please fill out the Interest Survey HERE.

What is Long Term assistance and how do I qualify?

This program is intended for people who struggle with providing for their pets on a daily basis. To qualify for our long term program you must be able to provide proof of need, such as SNAP, WIC, Disability, SSI, or Medicare. We also provide for low income veterans. You must present a copy of your DD-214 and your VA disability rating, if applicable.

Our long term program lasts for one year at a time. At the end of the year, you must renew with us by confirming your current low income status.

What is Short Term assistance and how do I qualify?

This program exists for the purpose of helping people through immediate short duration financial hardships. Whether it’s a loss of employment, a major car repair, or temporary disability, reach out to us and we can help make sure your pets are fed. This program is for a two month period per household, not per applicant. We may offer a one month extension if your hardship continues past the end of the two month period and you speak with us prior to the end date of your assistance.

Once your household has been on this program and done the allotted time, you must either apply for long term or wait six months to apply again.

ALL of the food and supplies we give out come from the generous donors who support us every month! Whether it is via events like Bikers Filling Bowls or individual donations directly to us everything we are able to give out comes from donors just like YOU!
